說到這玉里橋頭臭豆腐可真是令人又愛又恨,愛的是那外酥內軟齒頰留香的美味,恨的是人聲鼎沸大排長龍的無奈,因為老闆另有工作,玉里橋頭臭豆腐的營業時間也很特別,每天下午五點才開門營業,太早來也吃不到,這僅此一家別無分號的美味唯有等待別無他法,或許也可稱為另類的飢餓行銷。

這裡的臭豆腐最大的特色就是外酥內軟的口感,老闆說訣竅就是要起兩個油鍋,一個細火酥炸,另一個旺火去油,也因為如此工序較繁複,出餐速度也會比較慢,但美食是值得等待的,唯有慢工出細活才有令人想念的在地好味道。
